PAIN IN MY NECK

on October 14, 2012

So I’ve been working on getting back into shape after having two kids. As I mentioned before, I attend boot camp classes and it is brutal, but it is doing the job. I’ve been feeling better about myself and looking better in my clothes. I get compliments from friends and family and it’s great! I’ve decided to be a little more adventurous….

So I enrolled in a pole dance class. Okay, okay, don’t get any ideas! It’s actually great exercise and it is unbelievable just how much upper body and ab strength is needed for some of the moves. Geez!

I’m doing okay, but it’s really hard so I’m not as graceful as I imagined myself to be. Trust me, the mirror does not lie! But I do my best and you really get a workout by the end of the class. I’m actually really enjoying it.

Until I pulled a muscle last week! I can barely move my neck!

You’re laughing right now aren’t you?

Okay….you can stop anytime now!

I have a couple of friends that are in Pole dancing! I would never laugh, it’s amazing what pole dancing pros can do. I have nothing but respect for them! It should be a freaking Olympic sport! Screw the parallel bars LOL

The graceful bit will come with time!
